新加坡消费品保**规1991指定新加坡标准，生产力和创新委员作为产品安全职能机构，负责对消费者保护（安全要求）注册方案（CPS）涉及的产品进行许可和注册。只有带“SAFETY”标志的注册产品才能在新加坡销售。主要的发证机构为新加坡的PSB，因此新加坡是S Mark（Safety mark）也经常被叫PSB认证。
目前新加坡只要求安全而对EMC只是自愿原则。安全要求：在IEC标准要求下，产品还要符合热带条件测试。
